Beyoncé will broadcast her I Am…Yours Las Vegas concert special on Thanksgiving night (November 26th) at 9pm EST on ABC. The special will be a behind-the-scenes look into her life and concert as well as a few stage performances. TOO GEEKED!!! Below is the cover of her upcoming DVD of the last tour concert.

KIELY WILLIAMS PREPARES DEBUT ALBUM/VIDEO

Ya’ll remember Kiely Williams from 3LW and Cheetah Girls fame right? Well she is currently working on her debut solo album and recently released a video teaser for her song, “Make Me A Drink” (view it below).

According to sources, the 23 year-old has been quietly studying acting in LA and working on her debut solo album since the Cheetah Girls officially disbanded in December 2008. She has completed 5 of the 10 songs she plans to have on the album and the project will be released through Nine Lives Entertainment in 2010, the management and production company with whom she’s been signed since her career began with 3LW in 2000. Word is, she also has two upcoming acting project on the way..

I can see why this was left out the album, it definitely has a more empty sound than the other tracks Danja did for the album.

I like the international feel that it has. Just in, Rihanna has just been added to the lineup for the 2009 AMAs. She will be performing her new single "Russian Roulette" at the 37th annual show on Sunday, November 22nd, only a day before her fourth album ‘Rated R’ is released. I so EXCITED that I could just PISS MYSELF with GLEE! HEHE. In addition to things, it has also been confirmed that "The Wait Is Ova" will serve as the next single from the new album.



Seems as if Def Jam is dedicating HARD with Rihanna’s promos. Prediction is she will end up having a good throne for best first week album sales of her whole career. NOT SHOCKED with it being released during Holiday season and all. All 3 Kardashian girls looked amazing as they were spotted arriving. In other recent news, it was said that newlyweds Khloe & Lamar reached a pre-nup agreement as well. Shade in the water? WEZZY'S GETTING LOCKED UP

Lil Wayne, 27, who won best rap album at the 2009 Grammy Awards and whose real name is Dwayne Carter, agreed to a plea deal with prosecutors and will be sentenced at New York State Supreme Court in February.

Prosecutors said a gun was found in his tour bus in July 2007. Rapper Ja Rule was arrested separately on similar charges after a hip hop concert in New York where both men performed.

Ja Rule, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, pleaded innocent and a trial date has not yet been set.

Carter had convinced the court earlier to delay his trial date to accommodate his performing schedule.

I guess it takes more effort then putting on a suit to get freed of jail time...sorry Weezy...:(

PRODUCER OF RIHANNA'S "RUSSIAN ROULETTE TWIT'S BACK

Chuck Harmony took to his Twitter earlier today to respond to the Tiffany Evans accusation about the song containing satanic messages:

"There are no satanic messages in the music. Maybe if we did a remake of ‘Promise Ring’ (Tiffany’s hit single), then Rihanna wouldn’t be a devil worshipper. People are so closed minded. The song is not literal. Like most provocative art, its symbolism. Grow up. I’m never going to defend my art…I create it and then it’s out of my hands. So reviews don’t hurt me, but Tiffany’s unrealistic take on the song really urked me because idiots breed idiots. Bottom line, she is in the music business so she understands that the song is not indicative of the artist views, but rather, it’s the brainchild and vision of the songwriter and producer. With that being said, to use that song as a shining example of devil worship in the music business, you are saying that Ne-yo and Chuck Harmony are devil worshippers. Thats stupid!! That’s beyond stupid it’s immature. Artist should understand art. So with Tiffany Evans rant, I can safely say that the title artist should not be part of her bio."

FIRST Let me Say Tiffany Evans is a talented Young lady. Clearly she needs to listen to the song and understand its true meaning. "Russian Roulette"is about TAKING A RISK. Just because there’s a gun shot at the end of the song doesn’t mean someone commits a suicide – but that he/she lost. Of course we do not encourage anyone to it since it’s like the most stupid game of all time… but Rihanna doesn’t encourage as well!
Actually we should give her (and Ne-Yo obviously) props for such a lyrical song. Which also brings me to think that Tiffany is too young to know anything about poetry!! Her coming for Rihanna is equivalent to Keri Hilson coming for Beyonce... SUICIDE. How about you focus on your FAILING CAREER which compliments that HORRID HAIR DYE & CLOWN BEATING ON YOUR FACE...GIRL BOOM!

Check out Rihanna’s first official single, “Russian Roulette” (written by Ne-Yo) from her upcoming new album entitled, Rated R. The “Russian Roulette” video, directed by Anthony Mandler, will premiere in prime-time on ABC soon.

The song is slow tempo ballad but we heard she had some dance tracks on the new record too. I guess we will have to wait until November 23rd to hear more.

Most people sound-tracking their own break-up wouldn’t make an album as gleamingly epic as Straight No Chaser, the future-thinking pop album from Mr Hudson. But most people don’t have Kanye West throwing down the gauntlet to make a classic, stadium-filling pop record. G.O.O.D Music / Mercury Records artist Mr Hudson is a multi-talented singer/songwriter from Birmingham, UK with a heart for major hooks, soaring melodies, bright new-wave synths and crushing beats, so his break-up album is a document of misery that sounds like total joy; from the gravity-defying anthem “Supernova,” to the dubwise banger “Anyone But Him” to the utterly spare headphone-jam “Instant Messenger.”


Written in just two months in the spring of 2009 after a whirlwind of touring the UK, flights between London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii (where he worked with West on 808s and Heartbreaks), Hudson was in a weird headspace upon his return to his tiny flat in North London. “My room was full of guitars and keyboards, there wasn’t even enough room for a bed,” says Hudson. “So I got my landlord to sort out a mattress for me, and I’d put it up against the back wall, it was really good soundproofing. When I’d finished recording at like three AM, I’d throw it down on the floor and jump in my sleeping bag. It was a very low point in my life—I’d thrown everything away. I’d moved out, I left my girl, I had nothing. So I had to make this album work.”


Hudson set out to make an album that both reflected his diverse musical background (raised on the piano and records by The Police, he can “sort of” play any instrument he picks up) and his then-emotional truth. “It’s about not fiddling around, not over-complicating the message,” says Hudson. “People have got busy lives out there, they don’t want to be bothered by every idea you have squeezed into an album. It’s great, it’s fresh. I think we’re at a stage now where it’s all just pop music. There aren’t any rules—it’s just like let’s have fun and entertain people.” So he pared down his ideas and got on his grind. He expanded his vocal ability, singing in higher and breathier ranges than he had on A Tale of Two Cities, his somber, glitchy electronic album from 2007.


For Straight No Chaser - executive produced by West - Hudson plugged in an expanse of drum sounds, tweaking hip-hop, new wave and reggae influences together for epic rhythms. Deep beats, irrefutable piano melodies and vast vocal harmonies take a record steeped in dire emotional circumstances and launch it into something else entirely: ubiquitous, melodious pop. “It wasn’t so much tapping into the emotion of the breakup,” says Hudson, “as the pipes bursting, so you grab a couple of buckets and try to collect the water. I’m not recommending to anyone to break up with someone in order to write a good album… but if you do, make sure you get into the studio shortly after.”


That such deep sorrow translates into such a massive record is really only right: it’s been the emotional undercurrent in all of Hudson’s influences – from stadium-sized rock to Motown soul, from plaintive reggae chants to R&B balladry. “To admit to the chinks in your armor, to admit to your sorrow, is actually the most gangster thing you can do,” he says.

RIP KANYE WEST?

As we all have seen on twitter over the past few days a Continuing trending topic has been #RIPKANYEWEST... Is Kanye Dead?? Nope In fact The American hip-hop singer Kanye West screened his 11-minute short film, entitled We Were Once a Fairytale and directed by American director Spike Jonze, on his blog October 18.

The short marks the second collaboration between the two, following the experimental music video
to 2007's "Flashing Lights." The new clip features West portraying a drunken exaggeration of his obnoxious public persona, embarrassing himself in a nightclub as "See You in My Nightmares" (a track from last year's 808s & Heartbreak album) plays in the background. Eventually, West makes love to a stranger, vomits in a bathroom, and encounters a rat demon living inside of himself (a puppet resembling characters seen in Jonze's latest no.1 film, Where the Wild Things Are).

We Were Once a Fairytale was filmed in Los Angeles, California, over a two-day period in January 2009 . The short will eventually be made available for sale on iTunes (though no date has yet been set); Kanye West has since removed the video from his blog. The collaboration has been shown only once before, during the Los Angeles Film Festival on June 24.
